The Napapijri journey begins in 1987 in the shadow of Europe's highest mountain, Mont Blanc, where an Italian travel bag manufacturer approaches outdoor clothing with a new sensibility, combining innovative materials with a keen eye for style.


Napapijri is a variant of the Finnish word for Arctic Circle and the logo, half positive, half negative, expresses the North and South Poles in graphic form. The Norwegian flag is closely linked to the brand's identity as it represents the northernmost country in Europe, the birthplace of some of the greatest explorers of the 20th century and a land of extreme conditions and magnificent landscapes.
